Commissioned by The Casement project for Féile Fáilte — Banna Strand, July 23 2016 as part of the 1916 Centenary celebrations, this moving and compelling dance piece is inspired by the stories of migrants and refugees, all whom have made Kerry their home. A coming together of people, cultures, their music dance and song. Welcoming the Stranger went on to open the Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival in Palestine in 2017 with performances in both Ramallah and Jerusalem and toured to Backstage (Longford) in December 2017.
